Day +28 | Stem Cell Transplant

He’s tolerated 250ml of his formula mixed with added calories yesterday and so far the same amount today. Kyle Davenport and I have worked hard to get in. We’ve had to do 5-10 ml of formula in gtube every around the clock every 15-30 minutes to work him up. We can now do 20ml at a time. So he’s getting to come off the TPN & lipids tonight. πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

Not going to lie. It’s EXHAUSTING lol
But whatever works.

Kyle & I have also been switching every morning at 9 so the other can head to train in PD again, they do some things different here.

We’re both training in Hickman dressing (central line) tomorrow morning. One of us doesn’t get any sleep lol Kruz doesn’t sleep. He whines & cries & howls your name all night or sometimes will watch a movie . He hasn’t slept longer than an hour in over two weeks. So one of us is always with him while the other is trying to rest with Paizlee πŸ˜… at RMH. Or training for discharge with one eye open πŸ€£

He has SMILED more. So that’s HUGE!! Isn’t that a pretty smile!??!?!!

Plan is *hopefully* starting PD tomorrow!!! πŸ™πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ™πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ™πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ™πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ™πŸ€žπŸ»
And then planning to get his Hemo Port OUT SOON, and discharge Sunday or Monday. Discharge is a whole other post πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

He looks great!! Labs are great!!
